Summer has arrived! The days are getting shorter again, but the heat is still rising. Talk about great sailing weather! Now is the time to inspect your ladder systems, because if you happen to fall overboard on one of those hot days, you need a stout ladder to be able to climb back aboard.

Wallowing over like a beached whale just doesn't look as dainty. Great events are coming up. Make sure you plan of coming out to see our young sailors race on the 28th. And plan for the Fourth of July at the club, with a great view of the fireworks at the other end of the lake.

For you non stock members, it is time to evaluate becoming stockholders in our club. You should have a voice on how the club is run, and that is the best way to be heard. Did you know that to serve on the board you must be a stockholder? To vote at our annual meeting for next years officers you must be a stockholder? To own a piece of the rock you must be a stockholder. So give me a call and let me tell you what you need to do to become a stockholder!! GRSA Needs You!
